A woman and a young child have been killed in a two-truck crash on the Bruce Highway in Queensland.
Police and emergency services were called to reports of a crash between a Mercedes-Benz truck on the Bruce Highway at Canoona at 10.40pm last night.
The Freightliner truck driver, a 24-year-old man from Koongal, was flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Two passengers in a Freightliner truck, including a 21-year-old woman and a two-year-old girl from Koongal, were declared dead at the scene.
The driver of a Mercedes-Benz truck, a 24-year-old man from Toongabbie in NSW, was left with minor physical injuries.
The Bruce Highway remains closed and is expected to remain closed for most of the day.
Motorists have been told to avoid the area.
