Police have released a photo of a suspect who allegedly threatened a motorist during a road rage incident in North York this past summer.
Officers received a “damage in progress” call in the area of Jane Street and Finch Avenue West at 6 p.m. on Aug. 12.
Police learned that during the incident, the suspect reportedly broke the victim’s side mirror on their car before threatening to shoot them.
When officers arrived, they saw the suspect, who was on his dirt bike, and followed him, police said. However, they later lost him.
The suspect is described as a man with a medium build, short black hair with dreadlocks, and a black beard. He was last seen wearing a dark blue tank top, light blue shorts, and red sandals.
Police said the suspect’s small dirt bike is grey in colour and its front wheel is larger than the rear.
They are asking anyone who can identify the suspect to contact investigators at 416-8080-3100 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
