The former boyfriend of an Irishwoman who was stabbed to death in a New York bar last year has been sentenced to 24 years in prison.
Thirty-seven-year-old Marcin Pieciak, of 76th Street in Glendale, entered the guilty plea last month over the fatal stabbing of 41-year-old Sarah McNally at the Ceili House Bar in Maspeth, Queens, New York on March 30 last year.
