A number of roads are reported to be in treacherous condition around the county this morning following another night of heavy frost.
Council gritters were out in force this morning, however, motorists are urged to take care.
Met Éireann says it will be cold, dry and bright at first today across Ulster with frost and any icy patches slow to clear. It will turn cloudier this afternoon with patchy rain and drizzle developing over the western half of the province. Eastern areas will stay dry until after dark. Highest afternoon temperatures of 3 to 5 degrees, but turning less cold later, with light southerly winds increasing moderate to fresh towards evening.
Tonight will be cloudy with rain and drizzle becoming widespread. The rain will gradually clear eastwards to isolated showers and clear spells. Mist and fog patches will develop behind the rain as winds ease light westerly or variable. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 4 degrees with a touch of frost possible.
Tomorrow will see a dry start with any mist and fog slowly clearing to sunny spells and scattered showers. It will turn cloudier through the afternoon and evening with rain and drizzle developing in Donegal later. A milder day than lately with highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds.
