A 16-year-old boy is one of two people to be charged after shots were fired at a home in Sydney’s south-west.

Police were called to a home on Aberdeen Street in Bossley Park about 6:30am on Friday after reports of a public place shooting.

Officers arrived to find several shots had been fired into a home from an Audi sedan before it drove from the scene.

No residents in the home were injured during the shooting.

Police later found the abandoned Audi crashed nearby at the intersection of Mimosa and Prairie Vale Road.

During a search of the car, police allegedly seized an automatic firearm.

About 1:30pm on Friday, police executed a search warrant at a home in Fairfield West, and arrested a 22-year-old man.

He was taken to Cabramatta Police Station where he was charged with firearms and organised crime offences. The man was refused bail.

During the search, police allegedly found a shortened calibre rifle, ammunition, and a number of mobile phones.

About 6:15pm on Friday, officers stopped a vehicle on Camden Valley Way in Leppington and arrested a 16-year-old boy.

He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with a number of offences, including one firearms charge.

The boy was refused bail.
