Uncrowned has David Benavidez vs. Anthony Yarde live results, round-by-round updates, highlights, ring walks and start time for the Benavidez vs. Yarde fight card on Saturday at the ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. David Benavidez defends his WBC light heavyweight title against Anthony Yarde atop a card with four world title fights.
Benavidez (30-0, 24 KOs) twice held the WBC super middleweight title between 2017-20, but lost it outside the ring on both occasions. After picking up the WBC interim light heavyweight title against Oleksandr Gvozdyk in June 2024, Benavidez had to get off the floor to defeat the WBA (Regular) champion David Morrell in a thriller in February.

Yarde (27-3, 24 KOs) is a two-time light heavyweight title challenger. The Brit was stopped in both championship attempts — once by Sergey Kovalev in 2019 and again by Artur Beterbiev in 2023. Yarde was most recently in action in April when he edged Lyndon Arthur to pull ahead 2-1 in their rivalry.
In the night’s co-feature, Devin Haney (32-0, 15 KOs) challenges Brian Norman Jr. (28-0, 22 KOs) for the WBO welterweight title. Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez (22-0, 15 KOs) also takes on Fernando “Puma” Martinez (18-0, 9 KOs) in a three-belt super flyweight title unification, and rounding out the main action is a WBO lightweight title fight between Abdullah Mason (19-0, 17 KOs) and Sam Noakes (17-0, 15 KOs).

Abdullah Mason and Sam Noakes contest the vacant WBO lightweight title in the first of four world title fights.
Mason (19-0, 17 KOs) stopped Jeremia Nakathila at the beginning of Round 5 in their ESPN-televised main event bout Saturday in Norfolk.
Mason, 21, would be the youngest male champion in the sport should he capture the belt tonight.
Noakes (17-0, 15 KOs) last fought in May, when he knocked out Patrik Balaz in three rounds in a tune-up bout.
Noakes, 28, is an unknown quantity outside of the UK, but he has garnered a reputation as a world-level fighter in Britain after capturing the European, Commonwealth and British titles on smaller shows.

Mielnicki landed a clean right hand on Nmomah in the final 20 seconds of the penultimate round.
Nmohmah was rocked again and ate a flurry from Mielnicki. It was a right-hand-left hook power combo that floored Nmohmah late in the round. The referee decided to stop the bout and award Mielnicki a ninth-round TKO win, despite Nmomah beating the count.

A right hand had Nmohmah off balance in the final minute of Round 8. Mielnicki connected with another two-punch combination as Nmohmah had his hands down. Nmomah’s legs were unsteady and Mielnicki kept unloading. Good moments for Mielnicki in the closing few rounds.

Vito Mielnicki Jr. confirmed to trainer Ronnie Shields in the corner in-between Rounds 5 and 6 that he has hurt his right hand. Shields told Mielnicki Jr. to focus more on his left hand, and that has been his strategy in Round 6.

Nmomah looked to have landed a counter right-hand and floored Mielnicki in the opening minute of Round 5, but no knockdown counted. The fifth was the best frame of the fight for Nmomah. He backed Mielnicki up with a body shot around the halfway point, too. Mielnicki was noticeably less active and aggressive in this stanza, happy to just throw the jab.

Mielnicki raised the tempo in Round 3. He started putting his combinations together and landed two good right hands in the second minute of the frame. Mielnicki’s jab is still serving him well, while we did see less from Nmohmah in that third round.
Nmohmah was ROCKED by a right hand in the final 10 seconds of the opening minute in Round 4. Mielnicki followed up to the head and body. Nmohmah was WOBBLED again by a right hand a few seconds later. The ropes held Nmohmah up. The referee was taking a very close look, but Nmohmah managed to weather the storm.
40-36 Mielnicki

It’s been a jab battle for the better part of two rounds.
Mielnicki had a better moment early in Round 2, landing a right hand and following up with a combination, although little got through.
Two tall middleweights, who typically benefit from their reach advantage, are having that negated tonight. They are both fighting similarly and end up landing the same punches at times.
Milelnick is, however, more aggressive in this fight. He is looking to push Nmomah back consistently with the jab and follow up with the right.
20-18 Mielnicki

Mohammed Alakel continues to show improvement.
The Saudi Arabian prospect is using a brilliant jab to control the contest. He is consistently backing Li up and landing power shots as Li is on the ropes. Li is still dangerous, though, with his counter left hook.
Alakel’s trainer, Abel Sanchez, however, is not impressed. He wants Alakel to increase the volume and go for a knockout, rather than take a comfortable decision.

All three judges are in agreement that Julio Porras and Pius Mpenda can’t be split after six rounds.
Porras and Mpenda fight to a rare unanimous draw, with the trio of scorers handing in 57-57 scorecards.
Mpenda was certainly coming on strong and won the last couple of rounds. He may have also taken the third frame.

Two big right hands connect for Mpenda in the opening minute of Round 5.
Mpenda landed clean with an overhand, and then when he unloaded on the inside, a looping right hand got through.
Mpenda continues to have success later in the penultimate stanza with combinations on the inside. It’s been his best round by far.

Julio Porras has a significant height and reach advantage over Pius Mpenda.
Porras managed to dominate the first couple of rounds behind his long jab, but in Round 3 and in the beginning stages of Round 4, Mpenda started to close the distance and wing in power punches.
Porras needs to do more to keep Mpenda off of him.
