The 43-year-old was riding his white KTM motorcycle south on Cumming Road in Oakford at 12.15pm yesterday when he left the road and crashed.
Police said the man was left with life-threatening injuries and died at the scene.
The man has not been publicly identified.
Major crash investigators are urging anyone who saw the crash or the white KTM motorcycle travelling in the area to contact police.
