Alongside the fire in the Ein HaYam neighborhood in Haifa, another fire broke out in a residential building on Nissenbaum Street in Neve Sha’anan. Rescue teams evacuated three adults and an infant who were trapped in the building, and their condition is mild. Upon arriving at the scene, the teams noticed a burning car nearby, with fire spreading from it to the laundry enclosures and smoke penetrating the apartments. The teams ruled out the possibility of additional trapped people and fire sources. A fire investigator who arrived at the scene determined that it was a criminal incident of deliberate car arson using flammable material.
