Paul Costelloe, who has died at the age of 80, was an international acclaimed Irish designer, who had the distinction of dressing Princess Diana, and, during his lifetime, of being featured on an Irish postage stamp to recognise his contribution to the fashion industry.
As a designer of clothes and other accessories, he once said: “I’m comfortable dropping a bomb. I quite enjoy being a little bit dangerous.”
