An unusual confrontation occurred in the Knesset Constitution Committee between Chairman MK Simcha Rothman (Religious Zionism) and the committee’s legal adviser Gur Bligh. In footage from the discussion on the bill to split the position of the Attorney General, Rothman was seen whispering something in Bligh’s ear, to which Bligh angrily responded: “You will not threaten me.”
