Police said they were treating the death as unexplained but did not believe there were any suspicious circumstances.
Formal identification is due to take place but Ms Murton’s family have been made aware, added police.
Ms Murton had been seen on CCTV on the day she disappeared wearing a purple jacket, blue trousers and carrying a large shoulder bag.
Her car had also been missing, but was found at a retail park in Pinewood, on the outskirts of Ipswich, on Thursday.
