To help introduce the new fixture list, former Saint and member of the 1996 St.Helens team, Alan Hunte, was on hand to reveal the matches via Saintstext.
Paul Rowley begins his first league campaign as the Red V’s Head Coach away to Warrington Wolves on Friday 13th February, with kick-off at 8pm at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Our home opener a week later, on Friday 20th February, sees Leigh Leopards visit the BrewDog Stadium in what is bound to be an electric game as our first team run out onto the field at the home of the Saints for the first time in the season, with kick-off scheduled for 8pm.
The first of two early trips to France comes in Round 3 as the Saints travel to the Stade Gilbert Brutus to take on Catalans Dragons on Saturday 28th February. Then comes a visit to the Stade Ernest-Wallon to face promoted Toulouse Olympique for the first time since 2022 in Round 5 on Friday 20th March.
A classic Super League rivalry is renewed in Round 4 on Saturday 7th March, with St.Helens hosting Bradford Bulls following their promotion back to the top flight for the first time in 11 years. Our first visit back to Odsal will be in Round 16 on Saturday 27th June.
The traditional Good Friday Derby – The Biggest Derby In Rugby League – is back at our home ground in 2026! Our fierce rivals Wigan Warriors will visit the BrewDog Stadium on Friday 3rd April, for one of the most highly anticipated games of the year.
There will be three Super League fixtures against the Warriors in 2026, with a meeting at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday 5th July to close out Magic Weekend, followed by the away fixture at Wigan on Friday 24th July.
St.Helens host new Super League opposition in the shape of York Knights for the first time on Friday 1st May, for Round 10. We will then visit the Knights at the LNER Community Stadium in Round 21 on Saturday 1st August.
Three of our final four regular-season matches will be played at home, starting with Castleford Tigers on Saturday 22nd August, then Leeds Rhinos come to town on Friday 28th August.
Round 27, the final round before the Play-Offs, takes place on Friday 11th September, and will be a mammoth showdown as 2025’s Super League champions Hull KR face the Saints. The fixture will close out the regular Betfred Super League season: 27 rounds, 13 at home, 13 away, and one at Magic Weekend.
The 2026 Betfred Super League will reach its conclusion with the Grand Final at Manchester United’s home stadium, Old Trafford, on Saturday 3rd October.

CHALLENGE CUP DETAILS
Our competitive season will start in the Third Round of the Betfred Challenge Cup over the weekend of the 6th to 8th of February 2025, with that round seeded to guarantee each Super League club an away fixture to one of the victorious teams from the Second Round.
The subsequent Challenge Cup rounds will be played over the following weekends:
Fourth Round – 14th & 15th March
Quarter Finals – 11th & 12th April
Semi-Finals – 9th & 10th May
Final – Saturday, 30th May at Wembley Stadium
