Police in Melbourne’s western suburbs are appealing for the public’s help in their search for missing man Chris Thorne.
Mr Thorne, 35, was last seen leaving his share house on Hope Way in Tarneit at about 1am on Sunday, November 23.
He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and black jeans. Police describe him as Caucasian, 167cm tall, with a slim build, brown hair and beard.
His mother, Maria De Michele, said she wanted nothing more than for him to come home.
“He is really funny, a great skateboarder, an amazing artist,” she said.
“He’s very-well loved and cared for. And we’re concerned about his safety and his whereabouts and we really just want him home.
“We all love you so much. And we know that you love us too.”Â

Mr Thorne had recently moved to the Tarneit area, Ms De Michele said, and had been experiencing health problems.
“He may be disoriented, and he might be lost also,” she said.
“Chris if you see this … call someone, and if there’s no-one around knock on the door of the nearest house.”
Ash Thorne, the missing man’s brother, said Mr Thorne not being in contact for so long was out of character.
“He’s very, very loved and the response we’ve had from friends and family has been unreal,” he said.
“A lot of people are putting a lot of effort into finding him, so if anyone has any information, just reach out.
“[And] If Chris sees this, obviously we want him home and safe, and even it’s just a flick of a text to just say, ‘I’m all good, I just needed a break,’ … we just want to know he’s safe.”
Police said the search was being assisted by the SES and Life Saving Victoria.
