The Lebanese Army conducted a field tour for media outlets, presenting a tunnel belonging to the Hezbollah terror organization and showcasing the implementation of the plan to disarm the terror group. Watch the footage from inside the tunnel.
The Lebanese Army updated on X, writing: “The Army Command organized a field tour for the media to closely examine the implementation of the first stage of the army’s plan south of the Litani River.”
“At the start of the tour, a detailed briefing was given on the steps taken as part of the plan, including dealing with tunnels, closing several passages, seizing a large quantity of weapons and ammunition, as well as reinforcing the deployment of units in the sector despite the difficulties and challenges facing the military institution.”
“The military institution is committed to carrying out all the missions assigned to it and to implementing the plan within the set timetable, in coordination with UNIFIL and the committee overseeing the implementation of the ceasefire agreement,” the statement said.
