Residents of a small town in Alberta must be bundled up this morning, as it is one of the coldest spots on Earth today.
According to a new weather report from WX-Now, which tracks the world’s most extreme weather, plenty of Canadian locations were some of the coldest places on the planet on Saturday, Nov. 29, with an Alberta spot landing on the list.
Spots in Russia are really feeling the cold this morning, with Yakutsk leading the pack at a mind-numbing -39°C. Fort Nelson and Fort Good Hope are the highest Canadian spots on the list, at -30°C and-29°C, respectively.

Coronation, Alta., with a population just shy of 1,000 people, is sitting at a bone-chilling -27°C this morning, making it the coldest spot in the province and one of the oldest on Earth.
