Lives and homes are under threat in Geraldton in Western Australia, with a new emergency warning just issued for Bluff Point, Spalding and Sunset Beach.
Emergency WA said the warning area is bounded by Crowtherton Street, the coastline, Bosley Street, Chapman Valley Road and the Spalding Park Golf Course.
People in the area have been urged to leave now.

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Fire Weather Warning with Extreme Fire Danger forecast for the Midwest Coast, including Geraldton, the Midwest Inland, Lesueur, Yarra Yarra and Swan Inland North.

The Bureau warns today will be hot to very hot and dry with fresh and gusty north to northeast winds during the morning ahead of a cooler southwesterly sea breeze extending throughout in the afternoon and evening.
A number of Watch and Act warnings are also in place for the region.
Residents in Glenfield and other areas of Bluff Point have been warned to prepare to leave if conditions change.
