WEST FORK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — As the search for the ‘person of interest’ connected to the deaths of a Prairie Grove couple at Devil’s Den State Park continues, Arkansas State Police have released a new photo.

ASP investigators released the photo on Tuesday afternoon to accompany the previously released composite sketch. Officials told KNWA/FOX24 that the photo came from a witness.

The man is accused of killing Clinton David Brink, 43, and Cristen Amanda Brink, 41, on July 26. Officials said the two were fatally attacked while hiking with their two daughters, who were unharmed and are now safe with family.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call the Arkansas State Police’s tip line at 501-618-TIPS or submit a tip online.

ASP described the wanted man as a white male of medium build, last seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt (with sleeves rolled up), dark pants, a dark baseball cap, and sunglasses. He was carrying a black backpack, wearing fingerless gloves, and may have sustained an injury during the attack.

Witnesses told ASP they saw the man leave the area in a black, four-door sedan, possibly a Mazda, with its license plate obscured by tape, traveling towards State Highway 170 or State Highway 220.

ASP is asking those who were at Devil’s Den State Park on July 26 to review any photos, videos, or GoPro camera footage for images of the person of interest or the described vehicle.

Residents who live in the area are being asked to check security and game camera footage for the matching vehicle or any unusual activity.

ASP is also asking residents not to post any possible evidence online and instead, to preserve the original files and submit information to the agency.

This is a developing story. Stay with KNWA/FOX24 for the latest.
