The search for a missing Toronto person has expanded to the Dundas area of Hamilton, Ont., and police continue to be concerned for their safety.

Toronto police originally issued a news release in the search for Charlotte Jeffrey on Nov. 26, describing them as having a slim build, 5’4”, dark curly or wavy hair, a septum piercing and several tattoos. 

In the news release, the Toronto Police Service had said Jeffrey was last seen on Nov. 25 at 9:15 a.m. in the Mimico Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard W. area.

However, Jeffrey was then spotted in Burlington, Ont., later that day at approximately 11:30 p.m. in the area of Brant Street and Fairview Street. 

Hamilton Police Service said in a news release Sunday they would be assisting Toronto police in the search. 

Jeffrey was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, a dark green hoodie, grey pants and black Doc Marten boots, Hamilton police said in Sunday’s release.

Hamilton police and Toronto police investigators will be around Old Guelph Road in the Dundas area of Hamilton, Ont. In the news release Sunday, Hamilton police said the public would see increased police presence and the usage of a drone to assist in the search.
