Toronto police have released images of the alleged driver of the Lamborghini accused of fleeing after striking a pedestrian downtown on Monday night.
The incident happened at the intersection of Queens Quay East and Yonge Street around 7:15 p.m.
Police said an eastbound white Lamborghini Urus disobeyed the red light and hit a pedestrian crossing the road.
The driver fled the scene, leaving the female pedestrian suffering from non-life-threatening injuries, police said. She was subsequently taken to the hospital.
The Lamborghini was located later in a nearby underground parking garage.
Police are still searching for the driver, described as having braided black hair and wearing black clothing and white shoes.
Toronto police are asking anyone who can identify the driver and provide his whereabouts to call 416-808-1900 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
