Three teenagers have been charged over an alleged assault at a popular Melbourne beach.
Footage has emerged of a large group of young people fighting near the shoreline of St Kilda beach yesterday about 8pm.
Police were called to the scene of the alleged brawl and arrested a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy.

A third teenager, a 16-year-old girl, allegedly attempted to flee police by going into the water.
She was taken into custody after officers followed her into the surf.
The teenager has since been charged with affray, assault and escaping custody.

The boy has been charged with assault and assaulting police.
The trio were bailed to appear before a children’s court at a later date.
