ARLINGTON, Va. (7News) — 7News’ First Alert Weather Team is predicting that Friday will be the area’s first proper snowfall, with up to 2 inches forecast.

Several schools have already announced weather-related closures and delays. Find out if your child’s school is on the list:

Virginia Schools

ALEXANDRIA CITY SCHOOLS: Delayed 2 hours.

ARLINGTON COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS: Delayed 2 hours. Code2– All APS Schools & Offices Will Open2Hours Late.

CULPEPER COUNTY SCHOOLS: Delayed 2 hours. Essential personnel and custodians report on time. All other personnel report 2 hours late. If conditions deteriorate and we need to close, we will send a follow-up notification by 7:30 AM.

FAIRFAX COUNTY SCHOOLS: All Fairfax County public schools and central offices will open two hours late on Friday, December 5. Employees must report to work no later than 10 a.m.

FALLS CHURCH CITY SCHOOLS: Delayed 2 hours. Day Care Opens at 9:00 a.m.

FREDERICKSBURG CITY SCHOOLS: Closed Tomorrow.

KING GEORGE CO. PUBLIC SCHOOLS: Closed Tomorrow. Code 3.

LOUDOUN COUNTY SCHOOLS: Delayed 2 hours. Admin Offices are also on 2 2-hour delay.

MANASSAS CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS: Closed Tomorrow.

MANASSAS PARK CITY SCHOOLS: Closed Tomorrow. Code Red.

WARREN CO. SCHOOLS: Delayed 2 hours.

Maryland Schools

PRINCE GEORGE’S CO. SCHOOLS: Delayed 2 hours; Facility use after 2:00 p.m. will continue as scheduled. No athletic events before 2:00 p.m. There will be no half-day Early Childhood Center (ECC), half-day Special Education Programs.
