Former Late Late Show host Ryan Tubridy has officially tied the knot with Dr Clare Kambamettu.
The pair were married during an intimate ceremony in Co Galway on Sunday afternoon.
“Ryan Tubridy and Clare Kambamettu are happy to announce that they have married in a ceremony with their close friends and family this afternoon in the West of Ireland,” Mr Tubridy’s agent Noel Kelly confirmed on Sunday evening.
Mr Kelly also shared a picture of the happy couple, which shows the former RTÉ Radio host sporting a double-breasted navy suit with a green tie, and the bride wearing a traditional wedding dress with a gold belt feature.
The happy couple had been spotted in Clifden in recent days, the location of the Abbeyglen Castle Hotel, which is owned by Mr Tubridy’s cousins.
Earlier this year, Mr Tubridy, 52, announced his engagement to Dr Kambamettu, 41, after O’Dálaigh Jewellers in Clifden revealed he had purchased a ring for a “very special lady”.
Dr Clare Kambamettu, a clinical psychologist from Athy in Co Kildare, is a former Rose of Tralee winner, having won the competition as the London Rose back in 2010.
Speaking on his Virgin Radio show after his engagement in June, Mr Tubridy said he wanted to share “a little bit of news that I’ve been keeping to myself, to ourselves”.
“I’m very, very, very happy to confirm I did get engaged to my partner Clare in the west of Ireland,” he said.
