Opposition leader Yair Lapid attacked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a 40-signature discussion in the Knesset, questioning him about the draft exemption law for ultra-Orthodox: “What will you tell the wounded? What will you tell them if you pass the draft-dodging law? What will you tell a soldier who lost his arms and legs, and how will you explain to him that the same hand that signed his draft order is also the hand signing the release of tens of thousands of healthy young men as part of a political scheme of the lowest and most ugly kind?” Lapid added that “the law will not pass.”
