Two women found dead in Rosanna home following welfare check

Police are investigating the deaths of two women found inside a home in Rosanna, in Melbourne’s north-east. 

Officers were called to a property on Haughton Parade on Tuesday, where they conducted a welfare check about 11:20am.

Inside, emergency services found two women, aged 84 and 64, deceased inside the property. 

Police are making enquiries and are yet to determine the cause of the deaths and when they occurred. 

At this early stage, the deaths are not believed to be suspicious.
