â–  Israeli security forces raided two West Bank universities on Tuesday, arresting five campus security guards, according to Palestinian reports.

â–  The body of the last foreign hostage, Sudthisak Rinthalak, was flown to Thailand to be laid to rest following a farewell ceremony held at Ben-Gurion Airport. Rinthalak, a Thai national, was murdered on October 7 near Kibbutz Be’eri.

â–  The Gaza Strip remained the world’s most dangerous region for reporters in the past 12 months, with 29 journalists killed, the press watchdog Reporters without Borders (RSF) organization said.

â–  The legal advisor to the Knesset’s Defense Committee said that a clause in the proposed draft-exemption bill allowing ultra-Orthodox men to perform civilian national service as part of the overall draft quota violates the principle of equality.

â–  Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Monday designated CAIR, one of the largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy groups in the U.S., a “foreign terrorist organization,” following a similar step by Texas last month.
