â–  Two Palestinians, one 13 years old, were shot by the Israeli military in a refugee camp near Ramallah, the Red Crescent said.

â–  Israel is expected to reopen the Allenby crossing, the sole transit point between the West Bank and Jordan, on Wednesday under U.S. pressure. The crossing was closed in September after a Jordanian truck driver delivering aid to Gaza shot and killed two Israeli soldiers.

â–  A senior Hamas official rejected remarks made on Sunday by the Israeli military chief that the Gaza Yellow Line, which marks the boundary of the area still controlled by Israeli forces in Gaza, constitutes a “new border line” and a “line of attack”.

â–  Israeli security forces raided two West Bank universities on Tuesday, arresting five campus security guards, according to Palestinian reports.

â–  The body of the last foreign hostage, Sudthisak Rinthalak, was flown to Thailand to be laid to rest following a farewell ceremony held at Ben-Gurion Airport. Rinthalak, a Thai national, was murdered on October 7 near Kibbutz Be’eri.

â–  Nearly half of all journalists killed over the last year were killed in Israeli army strikes across the Gaza Strip, according to a Reporters Without Borders report.

â–  Settlers set fire to vehicles in two separate incidents outside Hebron overnight into Tuesday, according to Palestinian media.

â–  Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refused in September to sign a security agreement between Israel and Syria, Saudi news outlet Asharq al-Awsat reported.
