The City of Cambridge has made a list it probably doesn’t want to be on.
Orkin Canada is out with its 2025 “Rattiest” Cities in Ontario ranking, and Cambridge makes the list.
Out of 25 cities, Cambridge fall in the 18th spot for the number of rodent treatments Orkin Canada has carried out between August 2024 to July 2025.
Toronto, Mississauga and Ottawa round up the top three spots. The ranking includes treatments at both residential and commercial properties.
Toronto also got the prize for the rattiest city in all of Canada when looking at the nationwide statistics.
With its annual list, Orkin Canada provided some tips to avoid the pests.
This includes keeping shrubs at least one meter away from your home to avoid hiding spots for rodents, sealing any cracks on your property larger than 1/4 of an inch, and keeping the property clean inside and out.
