Hamas captivity survivor Eitan Mor spoke at an event called “Celebration of Unity and Victory” organized by Economy Minister Nir Barkat in Tel Aviv. Mor recounted: “During my difficult times there in captivity, I always thought about all the soldiers falling in the war, about all those murdered on October 7 and about all the bereaved families. I knew that the war would restore security to all residents, so I would simply say thank you for staying alive another day. That’s all I had left to do and it really helped me.”
