The hearing in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s trial was halted for a few minutes after court security asked to remove bereaved parents. The parents who arrived at the hearing are Eyal Eshel, father of observer Roni Eshel; Liad Baram, father of Sgt. Neta Baram who fell at Nahal Oz outpost; Anat Ben-Ami, mother of Shani who was murdered at the Nova party; and Reut Recht Adri, mother of Ido who fell at Nova. The parents claimed they did not raise signs, and after a conversation with security, the families were allowed to stay. Eshel addressed the judges: “We, the bereaved parents, did not come to provoke. We came to look you in the eyes and request a state inquiry commission.”
