Police say three women in a vehicle got into an altercation with two other women walking nearby, attempting to pull with the women on the street into the car.
Toronto police say they are trying to identify three suspects after two females were partially pulled into a vehicle outside a King Street nightclub and dragged for a short distance as the car pulled away.
According to police, the incident occurred near King Street West and Portland Street at around 2:45 a.m. on Nov. 23.
Police said two female victims were walking in the area after leaving a nightclub when they were involved in a verbal dispute with three females in a vehicle that was stopped on King Street.
“The suspects and the victims became involved in a verbal dispute (and) the three suspects assaulted the victims and pulled them partially into the vehicle,” police said in a news release issued on Wednesday.
“The driver of the vehicle then accelerated northbound onto Portland Street, dragging the two victims a short distance.”
The two females suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police added.
Investigators said all three female suspects are between 18 and 25 years old with long, black hair, and brown eyes.
