Investigations began last Sunday after the man, who worked as a child educator, allegedly engaged in online communication with someone he believed was a 15-year-old girl. 
Detectives allegedly located videos depicting child abuse material on the man’s phone.
The man, who worked as a child educator, was arrested at Sutherland Police Station on Tuesday. 
The 50-year-old was later charged with possessing child abuse and bestiality material
He was refused bail and will remain in custody.
