U.S. intelligence services did not share significant information obtained via a drone flying over the Gaza Strip with Israel in the second half of 2024 – during former President Joe Biden’s administration – due to concerns about the IDF’s conduct in the war. This was reported by six sources familiar with the details to Reuters news agency. According to the report, the U.S. cut off live transmission from the drone, which Israel was using in attempts to locate hostages and Hamas militants. Five of the sources indicated that the delay in information sharing lasted several days. Additionally, it was reported that the U.S. restricted how Israel could use some of the intelligence.
