Swansea City saw their woes on the road continue at Stoke City on Saturday lunchtime.
Goals from Ben Pearson and Sorba Thomas proved enough to hand victory to the hosts, before Zan Vipotnik pulled one back late on.
Here’s how the players rated on the day.
Lawrence Vigouroux 7
Couldn’t do much about either of the goals, but made some really good saves to keep his side in it.
Ethan Galbraith 7
Once again a real lively presence at right-back.
Ben Cabango 6
Nothing to really take issue with, but this was an understated outing from the skipper.
Cameron Burgess 7
No player won more aerial duels. Made a number of important interventions throughout.
Josh Tymon 6
Bombed up and down the left with usual tenacity. Seemed to play through a slight knock too but wasn’t quite as influential as usual here.
Goncalo Franco 5
Could have done a little more in the build-up to the first goal. Quite a quiet showing on the day. Subbed.
Marko Stamenic 6
Had some good moments, but couldn’t quiet make his mark on the contest enough. Subbed.
Ronald 5
A pretty quiet showing. Didn’t do an awful lot wrong, but not quite in the game. Subbed.
Liam Cullen 5
As above, really. Set up Vipotnik for a decent chance early on, though. Subbed.
Eom Jisung 7
Link-up play was pretty good, and no Swans player made more tackles. A decent outing. Subbed.
Zan Vipotnik 7 – STAR MAN
Took his goal nicely. Unlucky not to score in first half.
