A local abattoir in Bruce Mines, Ont., has donated a full moose, along with covering all butchering costs, to the Huron Superior regional community of the Métis Nation of Ontario
The Métis Nation of Ontario, Huron Superior regional community was recently given a very generous donation from a local abattoir.
MNO received a moose, and Northorizon Abattoir, located on Deplonty Road in Bruce Mines, Ont., generously covered the butchering costs.
The moose meat will be distributed to elders and members of the Huron Superior community.
MNO members are very grateful for the generosity of the abattoir and butcher shop.
