“Continental has been committed to TIP since its foundation 20 years ago,” said Dr. Larisa Kryachkova, executive director of the Tire Industry Project. “Its re-election as Co-Chair is a testament to Continental’s strong expertise and spirit of cooperation. We look forward to continuing to work closely with Continental. As Co-Chair companies, Continental together with Bridgestone, Goodyear and Michelin will actively shape the strategic direction of the Tire Industry Project.”
The Tire Industry Project is the tire industry’s leading global forum for sustainability issues, dealing with all phases of the tire lifecycle from raw material procurement to the manufacturing and use phase through to the management of end-of-life tires. Under the auspices of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), TIP brings together the ten leading tire companies, which jointly represent more than 60 percent of global tire production capacity.
