Two men have been arrested after two teenagers were killed when the car they were travelling in collided with a tree in South Yorkshire.
A 17-year-old girl, who was driving, and a 17-year-old boy were pronounced dead at the scene on Todwick Road, Rotherham, after the crash at 02:40 GMT on Saturday, police said. Another male remains in hospital in a life-threatening condition.
The silver Toyota Corolla was travelling away from Dinnington when it left the carriageway, South Yorkshire Police said.
The men, aged 18 and 19, were held on Sunday, the force said, with one arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and the other on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
