An inmate at Manitoba’s Headingley Correctional Centre has died, the province says.

The 29-year-old man died Saturday while in custody at the correctional centre, which is just west of Winnipeg, Manitoba Justice said in a Monday bulletin.

No further information about the man was released, with the province citing privacy reasons.

His death has been reported to Manitoba’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
