Police are increasing night-time patrols and deploying dogs as part of a campaign to keep women safe over Christmas.

Plain clothes and uniformed officers from Kent Police will be challenging anyone considered to be posing threatening behaviour as part of Project Vigilant.

Officers will be accompanied by two dogs – Sully and Max – who have been trained to identify drink-spiking drugs.

Officers were in Canterbury, Medway, and Maidstone over the weekend on the look out for predators.
