A pair of RNLI crewmates had to be rescued after the boat they were in capsized during poor weather.
The RNLI said its Plymouth volunteers were assisting with a shoreline search for a missing person on Monday when its small Y-boat was launched to get a closer view of the coast near Wembury.
It said during the search, a “larger than normal set of waves” engulfed the vessel and caused it to capsize.
A spokesperson said both volunteers were quickly recovered from the water with one taken to hospital as a precaution. They were discharged shortly after being assessed by medics.
