A rare sighting of a wild beaver has been made in Suffolk following a similar recent occurrence elsewhere in the region.
It was captured on camera enjoying a late-night swim in the Little Ouse near Thelnetham, Suffolk, and Garboldisham, Norfolk, on 2 November.
Reg Langston, a founding member of the Little Ouse Headwaters Project, had placed remote cameras along the river to record otters, and was surprised to see the beaver instead.
It follows the recent sighting of a wild beaver near Fakenham, Norfolk, which is thought to have been the first in the region for about 400 years.
