The Regina Police Service is investigating a fatal collision that occurred this morning (July 31, 2025) at 6th Avenue North and Smith Street.
Officers were called to scene shortly after 5:30 a.m. this morning. When they arrived, they found a vehicle that appeared to have collided with a power pole and then rolled. A 13 year-old victim, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was declared deceased on scene.
Officers with the Regina Police Service Investigative Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team (ICART) were called to the scene and began their investigation.
The investigation is ongoing, however, charges are expected. The road is once again open and motorists can resume their regular activities. More information will be released at a later time.
