It’s not an ending but a new beginning is how Liz O’Connor and her son, Stephen, from The Anvil Bar in Boolteens view their decision to rent out the popular establishment they purchased in 1999.
Liz reveals that from December 20 the new lessees – David, Donna, and family – will step behind the counter for the first time. Liz refuses to be cornered into picking out just one or two standout memories when there are so many spanning almost three decades.
