Women who survived Jeffrey Epstein‘s sex trafficking crimes are upset with how Democrats selectively leaked images of the disgraced financier over the last few weeks and gave them little-to-no heads up when more was dropping.

Multiple Epstein survivors expressed to the Democratic Women’s Caucus in a video call their distress over the intermittent release of Epstein documents by members of their party on the House Oversight Committee, sources familiar with the call told CNN.

Democratic Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury, who is on the Oversight panel, told survivors she would relay the message to Ranking Member Robert Garcia, the Democratic Party’s designated strategist on the files.

Progressive Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, also a member of the Oversight Committee, agreed with her colleague that it was concerning how the panel was picking-and-choosing which photos to release, the sources recall.

‘Oversight Committee Democrats have always informed the legal teams and representatives of the survivors before any release, and we will continue to do so,’ Garcia’s spokesperson insisted in a statement. ‘The privacy of all survivors is a priority for the committee and all of its members.’

One source said that survivors’ lawyers were given a heads-up on Wednesday from Oversight Democrats about the Thursday release after members advocated to provide them with notice.

The latest drop – just a day before the deadline for the Justice Department’s full Epstein files release – included redacted passports, text messages with demographic details of women and words written on women’s bodies.

Before this, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee had already made public several batches of photos they received from Epstein’s estate as they reviewed 95,000 images.

One release included harrowing and deserted images of Epstein’s private island Little St. James – featuring an empty dentist office with masks of men’s faces lining the walls, a dried-up steam room and a library with redacted words written on a chalkboard.

Another drop included images of prominent individuals – like President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton and Microsoft founder Bill Gates – with women whose identities were concealed with black-boxes.

The images came after this fall Democrats on the committee released some redacted emails from the files that mentioned Trump and referenced Epstein’s connections.

The trickle of information has led to criticism from Republicans accusing Democrats of politically cherry-picking information for disclosure.

Since the DOJ and Epstein estate turned over thousands of files to Congress, Democrats have pushed out smaller drops while Republicans have taken an opposite approach by compiling thousands at once for release to the public.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche admitted Friday morning that the tranche will not include the exhaustive list of Epstein files because there’s no guarantee they would be able to protect victims on this timeline.

Instead, Blanche told Fox News that hundreds of thousands of pages will be published on Friday, with hundreds of thousands more to come in the next few weeks.

‘We are looking at every single piece of paper that we are going to produce making sure that every victim, their name, their identity, their story to the extent it needs to be protected, is completely protected,’ Blanche said ahead of the deadline.
