Today’s release comes after Congress passed a law last month, which required the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release all its documents from the investigation within 30 days.
That deadline is today.
But don’t expect absolutely everything to come out — the law allowed the DOJ to redact identifying information of victims and anything related to ongoing investigations.
And as BMG just mentioned below, the DOJ has also indicated it won’t exactly meet the deadline.
