The HSE will shortly begin to send cash compensation to up to 90,000 Irish victims of the cyber-attack on the health service in 2021, with solicitors seeking administrative details from victims to finalise payments.

As revealed by the Irish Independent this month, offers of €750 have been made to some victims through their solicitors. An additional sum of €650 per person for legal costs is also being offered.
