EMERGENCY services attended at a road traffic collision at a busy crossroads in County Limerick this Sunday.

It occurred on the Dublin Road (R445) at around 11.30am.

Following a query from Limerick Live, a garda spokesperson confirmed that officers attended at a two-car collision at Daly’s Cross, Castleconnell.

“There were no reports of serious injuries,” said a garda spokesperson.

There were traffic delays in the area for a period while the vehicles were cleared.

The road has since fully reopened.
