How different will the Emmy nominations 2025 look from the Emmy nominations in 2024? That year, The Bear dominated the comedy categories, and the FX hit looks likely to do the same this summer—even though it will be eligible for its least-loved season. Once again, we’re predicting healthy Emmy nomination hauls for both it and its chief rival, Hacks, which ultimately came out on top by winning best comedy series at the awards show in September.

But in other categories, the list might look a little more interesting. This year, the Emmys have their first chance to recognize exciting new programs like The Pitt, The Studio, and Adolescence—fresh blood for an awards show known, for better or worse, for handing out statuettes to the same people year after year (after year).

So when Brenda Song from Running Point and Harvey Guillén from What We Do in the Shadows join forces to announce the nominations for the 77th annual Emmy Awards on July 15, we should be prepared to see a few new faces enter the mix—and maybe for a few unexpected nods too. How thoroughly will The White Lotus dominate the supporting categories? Will Martin Short be up for comedy actor—but not Steve Martin? Will Severance be this year’s Shōgun, or will The Pitt stop the workplace drama in its tracks? All will be revealed as the nominations are made public.

Check below for a full list of nominees, updated live as their names are said on the TV Academy’s livestream. (The first two categories were revealed early on CBS, which airs this year’s ceremony.)
