City of Huntsville municipal offices will close Thursday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Dec. 26, for the Christmas holiday. This includes Animal Services, Parks & Recreation facilities and Municipal Court.

Public Transit (Orbit and Access) will be closed at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24, and remain closed Thursday. Services will resume on Friday. All Parks & Recreation facilities will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24. Kids Space and Get-A-Way Skate Park will be open on Friday during regular operating hours.

City offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 29.

Garbage Collection: Residential collection will be delayed one day. Residents should leave carts at the curb until they are collected.
Public Safety: Essential police and fire personnel will remain on duty throughout the holiday.
