Public Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of The City of Saint John intends to consider giving third reading to the bylaw entitled, “By-Law Number MV-10.1 A By-Law respecting the Traffic on Streets in The City of Saint John and amendments thereto” at its meeting of January 12, 2026.
The proposed Traffic By-law Amendment would increase administrative penalties for parking violations related to parking in designated no parking areas, snow ban operations, and alternate side parking.
In accordance with the Local Governance Act, the bylaw will be read in summary only, if no member of Council objects.
