On Saturday, 7/20 December 2025, His Beatitude received:
Bishop John of the Patriarchate of Serbia, together with His Eminence Metropolitan Hesychios of Capitolias, and the former Archbishop of the Czech Lands and Slovakia, Christophoros, accompanied by a group of twenty pilgrims. His Beatitude bestowed his blessing upon them and welcomed them warmly, wishing them a blessed Christmas.
Thereafter, His Beatitude received Mr Ode Kawas, who had honourably retired from the field of Education, Mrs Anna Koulouri, and Professor Panagiota Kafetzis.
Finally, he received Mr David Phatsatsia, Minister of Internally Displaced Persons of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, together with his associates, who expressed their gratitude to His Beatitude for the reception enjoyed by pilgrims from Georgia at the Patriarchate.
His Beatitude explained to them how the Patriarchate, under adverse circumstances, carries out its mission, and, by extension, how the Church, likewise under adverse circumstances, safeguards the identity of Orthodox peoples.
On Monday, 9/22 December 2025, His Beatitude received:
Archimandrite Fr Constantine, Hegumen of the Holy Monastery of Saints George and John of Hozeva.
The retired Ambassador of Georgia, Mr Zaza Kandelaki.
Mrs Elisavet Koulinsky, regarding matters concerning the Russian-speaking Community.
Fr Issa Mousleh and Mr Hanna Amireh, President, together with the members of the Orthodox Local Council, who came to offer their congratulations to His Beatitude on the anniversary of his twenty-year Patriarchate office.
